I did the basic pump modification outlined on your site, did the drilling, no shims to remove, stretch the spring. Yaddy yaddy yaddy

The pump performance is great, BUT one quirk I noticed. When I am slowing to a stop and trying to turn at the same time it feels as though there is barely any assistance being given, but if i blip the gas it assist's through the turn fine.

Going to switch to GM PS fluid soon, right now running mobil1 atf in it. Its a rebuilt pump and a fairly new toy ifs box.

Thnx in advance

How big did you drill the hole out to.
We've found that anything over 5/32 or 11/64 will cause that problem.
ARe you running hydro assist or just stock steering?

I went just slightly larger, maybe 2/16's than stock on a rebuilt gm 1 ton hydroboost ps pump. I have stock steering for now with a large external cooler.

At least i know that's what it is then :) No problem, just figured I would ask the guy with the know :)
