I've got a PTO shaft-drive box that'll bolt up to my NV4500, and since I'll be running a passenger drop t-case in my XJ, there's a big space next to the driveline where the old t-case used to be.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever rigged up a PTO-driven compressor to run an OBA system, and if anyone has any pics/advice about such a setup.

I'd obviously want to have the clutch on the compressor still, so that it doesn't blow up, but I figure a short v-belt drive off the PTO shaft might work.

I also have an NV4500 and have considered the PTO approach to driving an air compressor. I've not been able to find a source for the PTO shaft drive box that fits the 4500. Could you pass on the specs on yours? Such as who made it and model number? Any ideas on sources for used take-offs/
Thanks
