Just wondering if anybody can help.

Looking for some sort of pulling clutch slave for my Toy. I found one that's used on rail-buggy's, but I don't think it has enough throw. Was wondering if there are any other vehicles that used a pulling slave or what other guys use for linkage. The problem is I'm using a 4.3l hooked up to an np435 and the manifold dumps right into the clutch fork. Anyone else ever have this problem????? Thinking if I can't find a slave I might have to fab up a mechanical linkage.

Sorry, no one has pulled slaves for a long time. Slavery was abolished in this country in 1865... <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">

But seriously, how about a hydraulic, internal throw out bearing version. They mount inside the housing and just have a line exit. Check Summit or the like for them...

Willwood makes one for about $70. Don't know too much about it but I may have to go that route too.

I ran a puller slave on my 5.0/NV4500 combo in my 4Runner. I bought it from a dune buggie company and it had enough throw. I don't remember the brand off hand, but I can look it up if you want.
E-mail me if you need P/N and price

To fix the throw problem - can you not play with the fulcrum point and arm length to get around that?
