any secrets or shortcuts to making pulling the front third member out quick and easy with the least amount of dissassembly?

This method prevents you from having to mess with the steering arm, wheel bearings, spindle, and about a dozen other extra steps.

I have that little bug in my ear telling me I've forgotten something. I'm sure someone else will point it out if I did. :)

you forgot you need to remove the 8(i think) bolts that hold the rubber gasket and felt to the knuckle

other than that, sounds good.

Sounds like just as much if not more work than:
taking off the hub
remove axle clip
take off caliper
Take off spndle Nuts
pull disc
take off spindle
pull axle out a bit

The above maybe takes me 15 minutes a side

i can get a third member out in under 5 minutes. just use the blue tip wrench..


assemble time becomes some what of an issue :flipoff2:

With the method I detailed, you don't need to touch any cone washers. I loathe cone washers. :D
