I have full CJ doors that I'm going to put on my YJ. I know they'll fit and line up okay, but I have the old style turn down door handles. They use a different door striker... Instead of a rod the door closes around, it's more like a house door. It has to latch behind something on the jeep sidewall.

Has anyone done this successfully? Do
I just need to somehow get some angle iron on there for the door to close behind?

That would work fine. I have CJ doors on mine but use the post style. The only other thing is, you need to use a Bestop with em. The "square" style windows dont work.

I've got a CJ hardtop for the winter that I'll be using at the same time as the doors. If it's above 50 degree's or so, there aren't doors/top on the jeep.

I'm in TX, with no a/c. The top doesn't go on until November or so.
