I have a 78 CJ7 with the quadratrac xfer case. in the middle of a 350 swap and the guy helping me cut the 3 vacume lines when taking the engine out. anyone tell me where these go....which one goes where. I know one goes to the intake and 2 go to the xfer case but which goes where......I should have jsut got a real xfer case!!

you should have a switch that is in the glove compartment. This switch will have three vacuum line nipples on it. vacuum from the engine should go to the center one. the out side two should go to the transfercase. It has been a while since I had my Waggoneer so I do not remember which port on the switch hooks to which port on the vacuum motor but it only takes 30 seconds to change them if you get it wrong <IMG SRC="smilies/blender.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/blender.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/blender.gif" border="0">

I have the same thing and eveyone told me this case was weak so I bought a D 300 and a centered rear-end 4 years ago . well i am still running that thing and d-300 is still sitting on my shop floor . Have 0 problems with it and I runn everything from the con to pismo . and the best part is in low range it is lower geared that D-300 . Good luck
