I finally got my extended brake hoses installed on the Ranger today. They are Skyjacker Exlporer hoses. They still fit fine except for one thing, with the wheels at full lock, the hoses will either touch the tires or get VERY close to it.
I honestly don't know if the Ranger caliper block is different than the Explorer, but it does fit except for the being to close part.
I thought of several ways to keep the hoses away from the tire, but only one seemed to be actually useable. That is to put either a 45(preferably) or a 90 degree elbow between the caliper block and the hose. They are seperate peices and can be taken apart.
So here's the question, are there any elbows like I would need that will actually fit? I have no idea if AN fittings are the same thing or if there is another kind that will work here. If anyone has a suggestion, please let me hear it.
