I have a 85 4runner 22re, It is very hard to start when cold. I have replaced the water temp sensor, cold start sensor and switch, new fuel filter, complete tune up, runs great - EXEPT the cold start issue! any ideas. Thanks.:mad3:
When its cold, and when you try and start it, is the cold start injector getting voltage. Hook a meter up to the injector plug and see if it gets a pulse. Or pull the injector and see if there is fuel when your starting it (when its cold). It there fuel? Too much fuel?
Start working backwards from there. Like posted before, what are your symptoms? When it finally starts, is there lots of smoke?
