Guy here locally has a 4 speed manual transmission and transfer case out of a 1970 k20 4x4 up for sale. He doesn't know anything else. Question is what transmission and case would it be?
I know the options for transmissions were the SM465, SM420 and NP435. Could it be a crapshoot as to which it is and I'll just have to go look at it? Would it be a NP205 or a NP203?
He's also throwing in both front and rear axles on the deal, says they're geared 4.56. Trans is complete with bellhousing, fork, flywheel, clutch and all linkage. Would the axles be Eaton, Dana or GM?
