Ramcharger Full Time 4X$

Hi, member of other groups however the Pirate4X4 site seems to be more in line with my new project. So new to this group and appreciate the knowledge and help. My new project is a drive train swap for my 74 Ramcharger. I am thinking of swapping the 5.9L with NV4500 from a 92 W250 into the 74. I have most of this figured out but cant wrap my head around the full time 4X4 front axel that the 74 has and not sure of the transfer case that comes with the 92 W250?
I do have a few options for the transfer case like retaining the NP203 or moving to a split shaft NP205.

My question is, with the full time front axel, will it continue to spin the drive shaft and pinion even if the transfer case is not engaged to run the front axel? Again, I can split a NP205 so that I have no power to the front, but if the full time front axel is spinning regardless then does that damage the transfer case? Maybe I need to retain the NP203? Suggestions and recommendations are welcome. Thank you,

Ok. For starters which of the multiple shit brick dodge d44 front axle do you have?
Big nut with 5x4.5 bp?
Regular spindled with 5x5.5" bp?

What "5.9l" are we talking about?
Cummins or gasser?
74 Ramcharger, d44-5X4.5, no engine, no trans. Want to swap in 5.9L gasser, NV4500
So, fuck that axle in the ass.

Get ford 5x5.5 or dodge preferably outers and some rear shafts and drums and use that 4.5" garbage to sink a hookers body.

Now for some better news. Your nv4500 should be 23spl that will match your existing 203(thats garbage as well but meh) input. Some drilling and plugging of the 203 face will get you dirrectly mated. And damn sure get an iron tail housing for the 4500. I cant imagine the 203 staying mated for long to the alum tailhousing.

You can also buy a spacer/adapter from nwf, i bought it but wasnt happy with it for my heavier 203/205 doubler setup.

Great news. Thank you!
If you have the complete donor truck, just make it easy and swap everything into the Ramcharger. Unless the 92 has a disconnect front, in that case put the outers on the original RC front axle
