Mine have the corner of the angle pointed down. I guess that gives me double the number of edges for traction. The only down side is they do hold water that way.
My 7' ramps store under the deck. I think is the best method. The ramps are out of the way, and don't bang around. Also, if you ever have to put a very long vehicle on your trailer, it will need to hang over the rear of the trailer. The fold up ramps would just get in the way.
