Where can I find those rapid air down valves for quickly deflating tires? They come in 4 packs and have hash marks on them so you can preset what pressure you want to deflate to. I saw them in Petersens a while ago but I cant find my back issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks alot.

When you preset the pressure in Staun deflators it will vary depending on altitude. Find a baseline with a manual guage and set you deflators to that.

I just have the cheap tire deflators that you do manually. No need for anything more.

Ditton on the Oasis ones, they blow goats ass.
In the time you spend resetting each on everytime, you can almost be done. And if they get any kind of dirt or anything they pretty much stop working altogether...even worse was the price.

Teraflex sells some quick ones too, pretty cheap I've seen em for about 10 bucks.

I don't have the oasis ones with the preset on them I have the ones that you just screw on the stem and it deflates the tire. I have no problems with them, the only thing is that you have to make sure that you screw them all the way down before they really start to deflate the tire fast.

Yeah, I do the same thing, except it sucks when its cold. I've been thinking about adding another valve stem opposite the original one, except leaving the core out permanently and just putting good metal caps with the rubber seals on those, and using those valve stems to air down. Anyone else ever done this?

When i make my new rims they will have a radiator petcock welded in somewhere protected. open it up.. air it down.. gauge it on the normal valve stem.
