Anyone able to verify the e2-tha resistance???
I have 2 separate xxxx-20350 afm's both read open from 60-70 deg.f...
Fsm shows some resistance flow thru from - to over a hunnered deg...
Most likely both are dead,, both sold as working units... Am I missing a test parameter?
This runs the temp sensor, any way to add a resistor to fix\fool the thing?

Does the circuit show voltage under power?
Not doubting your abilities, but these fucking resistance tests are so irrelevant.
ALL sensors send voltage signals back to the ecu.
If that sensor is indeed open, it will blow code NOW.
Otherwise you need to read sensor voltage during use.

No just following the fsm testing.
It is fighting me, I need to look up how the system is powered .
What's the test process? Got a link ?
Appreciate the help.

So far no codes... May be good news, gunna go jump on it in a few minutes.

You need to sample voltage at pin 7. Should show 5v unplugged key on.
Plugged in key on it should vary by temp but should be in a range of .5 - 4.5v
In this case Im not 100% sure which way the voltage sweeps. It will either sweep from. 5 - 4.5 or vice versa. If voltage falls outside that range you have a bad sensor.

Yes it is in spec.
Dug thru the fsm and found the testing section.
Looks like the igniter power resistor is out, hooking up a 1.5 v battery to the dist lead per fsm said replace igniter...
If I trust that test. Seeing how the resistance testing on afm is b.s.

Fact is voltage /amperage skews resistance specs.
Resistance should be figured out based on source voltage and amperage. Of course taking voltage drop into account

Almost over my head, but looks like the afm,tps are good.
Brand new china coil reads high resistance in the primary circuit, (flea bay $20 one size fits all seller, listed it as a direct replacement. 1\4" smaller in dia don't fit the mount) looks like I am throwing parts at it:confused:
