RS44044s are 3.5" Rancho Wagoneer front lift springs. They bolt on with mminor mods and give 4"-5" lift.

no such thing as a stupid question. 44044's are lift springs for a wagoneer (I believe 4") that are often used on front end of Toys for lift. Since wagoneers have a sprung under front axle, and toys have spring overs, they net about 5.5 inches of lift on toyotas. They are used so often because they flex like mad and are much cheaper than buying new lift springs from all-pro, aor, etc., which are also very quality springs, but cost more $$. I believe the 44044's are about $200 on average, not sure. Stock waggy's can be used as well, giving more like a 3" lift i believe. Welcome aboard! <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">

I guess I got ripped off, because everyone says they got them for less. One guy said he got a pair for like $117. Don't know if he was just talking shit or not.

I didn't really shop around much.

This was around 2 months ago. If you look hard enough I'm sure you could find a deal on them.

I didn't get APs because you have to move the hanger forward. (At least with their longer springs) I didn't want to mess with that. With 44044s all you need is a 1" lift shackle.

In all the flex pics I have seen, with all the different combos, nothing impressed me like the 44044s. Just testing them for the first this afternoon I was totally impressed. I'll post a pic of mine tomorrow.

But to each his own.
