Anyone have info and running rear springs up front? I read something here a while ago about being able to use the top two leaves from the rear toyota spring packs with the bottom three leaves from the front toyota packs for a custom set of front lift springs. Anyone done this? I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for. How much lift would this setup provide. Oh by the way, its an 82.

My friend Sean built a front set, almost exactly how you thought. He used the top leaf from the front(same) then used the top leaf from the back, he cut the bushing eyes off as close as possable. then used the 2nd rear leaf and cut about 2" off of each end. Then he used the 2smaller leafs from the front(same). It works really well, the only emprovement I would do next time is to keep the brackets that hold the spring pack in line. He cut those off, and they do really open up and twist well, but there were some times they didn't set back streight-came close to the sidewalls...
As for the left it was only about an inch.
