Has anyone ever done a spring over just on the rear? I have an fj60 that I was considering doing this on. I was wondering what to look out for and should I use stock flat springs or 2.5" lifted springs?

i just did one on my fj62 f&r and i got 6 3/4" in the front and 7 1/4" in the rear i would stay away from lifted springs. mine clears 38x12.5 sx swampers in the rear just fine. i am going to lower it because i don't like it this top heavy. it is a big lift and plan on some type of traction bar, it will wrap ypur springs even with a 6. the rear drive shaft really needs to be about 1.5" longer on the rear also. later mike

If you use FLAT springs in the rear and 4" lift springs in the front, I fear you will still be very ass-high if you only do the rear.

Have someone cut/turn your front and just do the whole unit at once!

Sixgun recently did a SOA in the rear but left his front SUA because he has a shackle reversal with 2 1/2 inch lift springs.

I believe he took out two of the leaves out of the rear packs to make the truck sit level.
