I just installed a tuffy collapsable box, actually made for a TJ, but it barely fits in my fj40, about .25" clearance from jump seats when they are down and about 1" from tailgate. When expanded the jump seats cannot be used.

I'll try to take some tonight and email them to you, it worked out great, couldn't have made it any tighter if they had designed it for a 40.
