Im gonna build another engine, so im thinking about rebuilding my th350.
I'm not gonna go crazy with the build though. I found a rebuild kit but it doesn't have the steel slips. Can i reuse the old slips or do i need to find a kit with the steel slips?

also, on my present engine, it looks like the rear main is starting to leak when im under heavy throttle. Whats the easiest way to replace that?

You like the stall you have? I went from stock (1800ish) to 1100 with a custom convert and love it! its almost too low because at lights it tries to push through the brakes or stall (daily driven buick 3.8)...but off-road it is a night and day difference to me.
