i was reading about people rebuilding their starters, i did see were a few of the people were buying the rebuild kits(i cant find one). and i also so where a one person used a copper rod and tigged in the groov that was made from repeated contact. my question is, would it be possible to just take a flat copper bar and just bend it into and L shape and cut it to the right size then just drill a whole into it so i would be able to put the bolt through it. would that work? thanks
and if that wont work can somebody help my out and throw so numbers on the rebuild kit my way...thanks
