Honestly it's not any cheaper than most off road shops. samsoffroad.com sells them for $6.00 more. Other companies will be even cheaper than this. Look around before bidding, you might be able to get them locally for the same price or maybe even cheaper.

coachgeo3 is rite, who are you to know. I'm running revolvers on a fullsize blazer and I've had no problems.

I wheel a TJ and know plenty about shackles (know nothing about Revolvers though, I'd do a SOA and be done with it). My past Jeeps include a J10, CJ's, another TJ and I also currently own a lifted XJ. Just because a person has a TJ doesn't mean they don't know about shackles. I also have helped with many a lift and many a trail fix.

over on NAXJA.org a thread just popped up about revolvers. seems many of the guys on there ran em and dont like them one bit, they allow too much wheel hop on uphill climbs. i have no experience with them personally however.

I would say that hill climbing and revolvers don't mix. I would think that anyone with an IQ>80 could have figured that one out. Revolvers are not designed to be hauling ass up hill climbs. Revolvers are definately for going slow over rocks to keep your tires on the ground and give you traction.

I have revovlers front and rear on my 95yj. I have an RE 4.5" sua lift and I love it. The tricky part is figuring what length shoks to run

Ive helped 2 different friends replace them with regular shackles because they kept breaking them on Spring Creek trail rock crawling. Maybe thats just a coincedence? I dont know, I think they suck, is that ok with you or are you gonna flame me some more for having an opinion thats different from the mainstream? <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
