I have 8 acres and our property is next to the river, The rock garden will be about 1/2 acre .

I get the rock from consruction sites,I just used the loader to dig some holes and stuff to make it more challenging, The garden is growing all the time with more rocks and im going to bring in tree trunks and tele phone poles etc etc

this is a great idea for a post. who has the best on-property wheeling. pics would be great. Also does anyone know of this being a previous post? I would like to see it. I have a cool little quarey out by my house.

Just a start on my pile. I have 6.5 acres, and have this out back.

Even though it is small, it has helped immensely with testing stuff close to home. I have been getting rocks from fence rows mostly.The cold weather has slowed the rock collecting for the winter
