I tried a search on this but it would not work. My buddy just bought a 1992 4 Runner and he brought it over to change the oil. When we got under there I noticed that the plug is almost completely rounded off. How do I get this bugger off?

Use a grinder to flatten two sides, and get a big ass vise grip on it. Make sure to not ignite any flammable materials under there with the grinder sparks. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

If the vise grips don't work, weld a bolt to it and take it out.

if the vice grips dont work, I just spend the $16.99 at quicky lube and they remove it AND replace the plug...

yeh go to quicky lube and get entertainment watching them do it. I used to work at a Speedee a long time ago and delt with those all the time, but as a tech you had no choice but to get it off no matter how bad, so if you can't take it there. But I would try both of the other ideas too.
