Today is the first day of Rubberbelly Racing's 3-day Stock Mod/Legends class Tracker build at the Expert Offroad shop.

This is what we're starting with...

A stock 1996 Geo Tracker:

There's alot of guys making this happen, huge thanks to Jason Troxel, Brad Jones, Scott Angell, Jeremy Hislop, Dave Fugett, Adam Ross, and ALL the guys from Expert

Also a big thanks to all of our sponsors!
EXPERT OFFROAD
Muchado Productions
Trail Tough
KansasRocks Park
Superwinch
4WD Hardware
Inland Truck Parts
Rancho
BFGoodrich

So far everything's been torn down... and now starting to get ready to mock up the axles. I'm going to post a bunch of pics, in order... But there's so many guys working in different areas that it's not going to look in sequence.

Need a job??

D44/ 9 inch were pre-assembled before this weekend to speed things up. Both axles have Yukon chromoly axle shafts 5.13 gears and full spool'd front and rear.

I forgot to mention that I'm shootin some video during the buildup. We'll have a video of it all coming together that I'll post up at the end of the project. After it's all together we'll get some footage on how it works!

What series and class are you running in? If you are running RROCK legends, then you can now modify the front of the frame.

Damn I think they missed that memo and may have been having issues with that.. Not 100% sure tho.. Is the lastest version of the rules including that detail on RROCK's site?

BTW see you guys tomarrow afternoon!

Alright one last post before I jet again back to the bar for work. Looks like these guys are getting closer and closer finishing up some details. Jake's figuring out the final front end issues which include fabricating a drag link, as well as making that winch fit--so he's choppin' out some of the core support.

On the back end, the guys are figuring out the fuel tank, running lines, etc... Going to put a grommet of some sort to protect the lines so yes we know that needs to be done :flipoff2:

I took a few more pics of the cage while I was back there. They still have to add the 5 point mounts as well as the X brace :smokin:

Alright I'm out.. Oh and here's a short clip of WAKE UP CALL up this morning with the air horns:
