I did mine really low. About 3 1/2" suspension lift. Rest is from the tires. 37's. Here's how it sits.

I previously ran 33's with zero lift, but had a little less compression. Just a little fender trimming and hammered the seam.

I currently have about 2 1/2" cut out of the fenders all around and tubbed the firewall past the body mount.

So you can make it work easily, but I would suggest not being afraid of cutting your fenders. Also helps a lot to use springs that move the axle forward and/or redrill the perches to move it forward.

Don't know if this helps, but here's a few measurements from mine:

Bottom of front headlights - 39"
Top of cab - 75"
Botttom of tailgate - 37.5"

Kinda rough measurements, one tire is losing air and almost empty, and it's sitting on a small sidehill.
