so i was driving to school when low and behold, there it was. a 1990 Toyota 4Runner 2 Door V6!!! man...what i wouldn't give for that with an SAS. so...how rare are they?? that would make a sweet trail rig, except for the lack of can-backability.

I've only seen one, and I agree that they are sweet, but aren't the 90-up post removable top? My 86 ran to 89 then the 2nd generation started in 90.

They are quite common up here in Canada. They go for around $10,000 CDN so thats about $6000 US.

I have a 90' V6 SR5 4Runner, 2 door, 5 speed, red with gray interior, power windows, locks, moonroof, tilt, cruise, etc and spare tire carrier, that I'm looking to sell. It's geared for 31's (from factory), has factory SR5 mags. It's bone stock except for Bosch driving lamps & CD player. It's got 220,000 miles and the body has a little rust on the bumper, along with a few dings. The interior is a little worn. It was my daily driver but I'm selling it now because I recently got a company car and my 85 4Runner has to be my one and only playtoy. Lckd - yeah...the top stays on, that's why i said lack of can-backability...meaning, non-removable top.
