if ya decide to get new heads, the factory vortecs are kickin ass... i love mine, although they have been hella worked, they are pushing a 4000# chevy C10 down the track to the tune of 12.90's on a moderate cam and tight converter.
you will need a dedicated manifold but these things in stock form (maybe a little exhaust side bowl work) and making great torwue.
