An interesting thought. If you wanted to do a homegrown shackle reversal and did NOT want to move your front axle very far forward you could use FJ55 front springs. They are the same length as the 40 springs but are center pinned. You would probably end up having about an inch of forward movement but not enough to cause any trouble.....
