Ever been to Moab? Out there I can see a use for them. No where else that I have been do they even seem slightly useable. On my truck they would just keep me from sliding on the bumper constantly. They do seem silly for most other areas of the world though. Untill you have seen how moab does this I wouldn't totaly bag it. Although I wouldn't want to run em, just because I am like Brandon I will power it out.

Yeah, you can always drag OFF a rock going forward, but what if you need to back up a rock and your shackle is hitting???

Like I said I wouldn't run em, I can just see their point. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> Here is another one to throw out there, what if you do a wheel stand of sorts on em? That could get nasty. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> Like I said, I see the point of them in moab but I think its more to keep a bumper pretty and a shackle pretty too. Not to serve a real purpose.
