So then why are you asking a street truck question? Do we want the Toy board to be a trail rig board or a pavement pounder board?

No offense ment here, but I think the other Mods will agree with me that we would like the focus to tech related to trail driven rigs.

Right Camo & DRM?

BTW, just buy the Bilsteins and get on with it

xextr3m3, LOL! I never said trail trucks did not also get driven daily, what I am saying is this question was clearly posted for a non-trail driven truck. Look at the sig, his trail truck is an 82.

I am going to Moderate to keep the focus on real 4x4 subjects.

As moderators we would like to guide the focus of this board to be for Toys that see Trail use. Please try and keep that focus, that's all.

Thanks in advance!

of course if I had a daily driver it would get wheeled to but then it would start to look like my truck does now

I have rancho 5000's at all four corners of my truck, and I would definitely buy them again. Front rides great, but the back is a little stiff. I think a softer shock like Doetche Tech softrides or something would be better in the back, but if it's for a 4runner, it would probably be perfect. I never bottom out and there smooth on the street; very controlled.

hey dont bitch about driving it everyday, i drove to work in citrus heights everyday from folsom at 7:00 in the morning, raining or not with half doors and no back window, detroit, and lots of body roll with brakes so hard i literally have to brace against the seat the stop quick. Its the price we pay for the sport we love, get used to it

Bilsteins are great on and off-road. Edlebrocks are good too, but a little more street-oriented.

I agree though, this question probably does not belong here. Try 4x4wire, you'll probably get a lot of good responses there.
