20 ton shop press I built last year for about $30. The axle stand cost about $0.

Actually the side channels are 5" and the headers and table channels are 6". The press is 3'wide x 6' tall so I used 12' of each size channel. The return springs are car hood springs that I got from a junk yard for $5 each.I was curious as about a few details of your press. Is that 8" channel? How many feet total did you use? where did you get the springs to return the jack?
Well it's not my patented design by any means. Pretty much like any press you can buy. I just made it because I had the time, tools and free material. I do like the pretty blue paint better than the store bought presses though.:smokin:That thing looks damn near identical to my harbor freight press
Yup. I figured I'd give it a try and just replace them with some hardened pins if it becomes a problem. So far so good though. What did you use for the pins in the table channels? just regular cold rolled ?
Sweet, but WTF??????????i was dicking around with the cnc mill today and made this wrench. i am going to use it for the draw bar in the spindle on the mill. any old 13mm or 1/2" wrench would work but i needed to try out a cad program. it is made from 3/8" hrs (what i had laying around).
after the wrench came off the mill i bead blasted it, finished it with caswell's black oxide and then engraved it.

Sweet, but WTF??????????
shows pics of the making, not just the done shot, done not impressive:flipoff2:
making it & engraving it on same machine, IMPRESSIVE!
now i am thinking about getting a large piece of 4340 and making an entire, super custom wrench setShit, Sniper, I'd have sent you a handful of 13mm wrenches. There isn't a 13mm nut or bolt on any of my Toys.
..i'll trade you for some bling 12mm and 14mm wrenches!
