While I don't think open carry is ideal, I guess since Ranson City Council is focusing on restricting LAWFUL firearms carry in public, then there must be no crimes being committed within their jurisdiction?

:shaking:

I wonder what's more a threat....open carry or the Meth trafficked through their adult establishments?

just like a guy said in that thread. It's all the DC and NoVa fawkers coming in and taking over. We don't really consider that area part of WV.
Seems that type of stuff is going on every where.
Folks in OR and WA are complaining about all the fawkers coming out of CA.

Seems like we are getting more of the same here in CO. People from both coasts. Bunch of twats from the DC area seem to be moving here.:shaking::shaking:

HEY BACK OFF NOVA. Loudoun County is probably the most gun friendly county in the state. It took 2 weeks exactly from dropping off my paperwork to receiving it in the mail

That is a shame.
It is not the hillbillies that are doing it.

I have never heard of Ranson, but do know that the panhandle (DC suburb) is a problem.
Those bunch of jackasses are coming close to outnumbering the hillbillies and are going to try to apply "their laws" on us.

They've already done it in parts of Maryland with bear hunting bans, hound hunting bans, and others.

It boils down to public opinion.
If the hillbillies will impose their will on that city council, their voices would be heard.
If all the supporters of open carry would exercise their rights every day in town, their actions would speak loudly.

If it were within an hour drive of me, I would be at that meeting.
I am also interested in their definition of public property.

If they are in deed the owner, or controlling factor, of a piece of property they could have put a sign up that said “No firearms allowed”. That is all it takes.

There are places around here that have signs prohibiting firearms.
I doubt many CCW folks pay any attention to them, but you obviously won’t see open carry.
