ok just wondering has anyone done this before?

i havn't meausured a single cab yet but i want to put an 83-88 single cab body on my 85 runner frame

i would believe the mounts should line up?

any one have any experience

have not done this swap but i think there are posts on some who have. anyway, if the body mounts need to be moved just cut them off and stick them in the right location-no big deal. don't ruin the mounts when you cut them off.

Toddy (or maybe ToyToddy) on the board here has done it - bought an 85 frame from me, and put an 82 cab and front clip he got from me also on it...

mounting

the first 2 sets of mounts are the same, the third set is spaced to far back. Hack it off and weld it in the right place.I did the the reverse. took truck frame and mounted 4runner cab.

ok i guess i will just have to park next to a single cab and see what the difference is between the rear mount on the single cab
