Small IRS atv?

So i have a fourtrax 300 4x4 and while its reliable and will go anywhere it has a VERY rough ride and it just kills me riding it very long. Where im at there are some rather tight trails and the small size of the 300 makes getting around real easy. So is there another atv around the same size as the fourtrax 300 with IRS or can aftermarket shocks give this thing a good ride. I seen the polaris hawkeye 300 has 7in front and 8in rear travel how would something like this compare.
