Ok,
Was reading a recent posting about the SOA front and SUA rear, and started thinking about this: I have a RE 4.5 lift, on the YJ, and the lift has been working great. What I dislike a lot is the lost clearance on the front from the crappy u-bolts sticking out. Those bastards snag whenever they have a chance, and I already broke a few on the trail.
Now to the question: What about running SOA on the front, and leaving the rear SUA with the lift springs? Why? Well, I have installed back my 30 in the front, which also has the perches for SOA welded. So why leave the rear SUA? One would be it is already running good with a 44, the driveline and angle are in great shape, and not having to deal with spring wrap problems in the rear would be sweet.
What do you guys think?
