Wanting to know who has used the top perch already on the top of the stock diff. What did you do other than drill it for the centre pin.

I do not need to rotate the diff as it is the later model one that already has a rotation to it.

Fj60/62's have them, and don't be lazy like me and use it! Cut em off and weld on the correct type of pads! And you're caster on the FJ60 housing is the same as a 40 (pinion angle).

all my 55's had flat pads on top the humps too.

I would agree, grind em out and use those mopar pads. They are cheap and have a larger and flater surface for the spring to mount to <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">
