Howdy all!

In the market for a softtop and was pretty convience that Kayline was the one for my baby, but lately digging on this forum I've run across some postings of Eshan's softtops. For you fellas with this top, how is is working out for you? How's it compared to others?

Any other tops to consider?

Thanks for any insite!

That's good to know Alan, thanx! I looked at some of his links, but never saw any prices or how to order. How much did run you, if you mind me asking?

Is it just the overall quality, design that makes it better? Is it pretty tight as far as wind and H20? Seen that Ehsan uses tie straps to hold the canvas down...just wondering, if that cause more wind noise than other designs.

Thanx!

A combination of straps and twistlocks hold it down. It's a very secure design in that regard. The vinyl is very heavy, the bows replicate the factory soft top exactly. It's sweet. I haven't driven with it on yet, but I expect it to be much quieter than my floppy best top. Price is *about $700*, but search for ehsans email here and get a direct quote. I think dhl direct runs about $150? There are pix of mine here in a "thanks ehsan" thread...

I have had Bestops, Kaylines and Eshans. I even had a Kayline factory softop replacement for a while. Eshan or any OEM top is 100000% better then even the best aftm. My Kayline OEM top would even seal up better than my hardtop. Eshan has great quality but it can take a while and you are looking @ $1000 by the time you get it. You will also need to paint the bows and frames. Not a bad deal for a great top. A bestop will run around $750 so it is not that much more for the OEM from Eshan.

anybody have pictures of thr inside mounting and support of eshan's top.
I am curious if it will interfere with my cage design.

on another note I had nearly new bestop that drove me nuts with wind noise and percipitation.

Inside pics? Of the bows? You're gonna have to be way more specific than just pictures.. It seems higher than my old Besttop. But I waited till I got the Top to build a cage. I or Chef can measure from floor to soft top hoop if that's the measurement you need. Or if it's a family cage there is a back hoop. Which seems to be further back than the BestTop one I had. What measurements are you looking for and then we can help.

I'm thinking about a new soft top (or going hardtop only) before my move to Baltimore. I've got a front cage so how about distance from the floor and from the windshield so I can check my cage.

Also, once installed, how easy is it to go topless and then reinstall the top - my Kayline needs about 80 degrees to be able to go back on.

Thanks:D

Door options...

Fellas,

What are your thoughts on doors? I have a pair of harddoors that are shot. Just wondering how softdoors are and whether the best route will be harddoor. I don't plan on ever using a hardtop for my 40 rt now.

Saw in one thread that Eshan makes doors, does anyone have a pair? I sent him an email yesterday, but no reply as of yet.

Thanks!
