I took 17" outa the runner and put 5" back on from an '85 PU 4x my kid totaled. I cut 6" off the frame. The cage is all ( so far ) 1 3/4" x .120" dom. I still need a couple more stingers. The Can-Bak is custom of course.I cut a hole in the side of the runner and added a stinger between the outer cage and the factory roll bar. I incorporated the rear body mounts and the rear roll bar mounts so they attatch to the frame.
What else you wanna know?

Not quite done w/the cage. I'm going to add one more stinger on the rear between the 2 arcs and one that goes across the gas filler area and into the upright going over the cab.
The rear bumper is welded to the frame at the rear and on each side. I've got a short bar going between the inside roll bar and the upright stinger on the rear of the cage. Plus I'll add some gussets to the bumper on the rear corners. Going to build a tire carrier off of it also. Nope haven't flopped yet. Been trying <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0"> Probablt will before too long. I'll let you know.

I like the tailgate idea. Looks really nice. Must have sucked to fork out the $$ for that custom cann-back though. That'd be the only thing stopping me. Nice work

I thought they looked a bit skinny for their height, thought maybe they were 37 inchers. Or possibly (although they look too tall for this) the 33x12.50 Interco has on their site...
