Well, at $6900 it's cheap for what it is.
Built from a really rusted out 1948 cj2a. As you can see there's not much willys left, but it is licensed as a 48'
Frame is all dom tubing. Main rails are 2" .188 wall, everything else is 1 5/8" .120 wall.
It has long arm 4 links front and rear.
The entire drivetrain is 2.5 liter 97 wrangler. It was a "street jeep'' and everything is in good shape with 105,000 miles on it. Fuel injection and emissions are hooked up.
It is using the wrangler dana 30 and 35 axles with 411 gears. Obviously it needs axle help to be a serious trail rig, but that's all it needs.
It rides, handles, and stops like a wrangler. I've been commuting in it since gas got so expensive cause it gets such good gas milage.
I live in western NC

Alright, how about $6500. I know the economy is slow but surely someone can pay that for a tube frame rig.
I'll consider partial trades on small vehicles (jeeps, scouts, compact trucks etc).
