nope
I ran out of funds before I could do that. I actually had a rockclimbing accident and had to pay off some medical bills so now I'm stuck with the toy axles install.
I got the front and the rear.. and front toy driveshaft, and my 6-1 gears.
I still need powersteering of somekind,
lockers, and a new steering linkage setup. New wheels as well.
As for the fab work, I'd have to cut all the old perches off the sami housing's, and then clean em up and weld them back on the toys. I have bought a welder but I don't really think I'm proficient enough with it yet to do that myself.
To cut some corners, I was thinkin after I got the powersteering... To have somebody who knows what there doing weld up my front and rear for me.
What I've decided to do is just put my sammi axles back together with the stock gearing and run my 33's again. (I have all the parts)
Then, I'd only need a another rad, tie-rod, and the powersteering.
I'd could get my rig ready by then, but from the pictures I found of the hammers
http://www.stu-offroad.com/others/other42-1.htm
I have a feeling I'd be doing a-lot of sammy axle breakage.
Could I get a sammy through the hammers on stock axles/33's/6-1 gears/coils? I made it though the con with minimal damage.
My dad's sammi has the grs2 gears, locked up, and on 31's... he'd like to go to.
Ok, enough of the novel.
