Where could a spare DS be stored on a rig (besides inside)and how (custom brackets, bungee cords,tie-wraps(LOL),etc..???)

Front or rear? crawl under your rig and check it out. There are some places along your frame that could be used for storage. Maybe acroos your frame in the rear (length?) Measure twice cut once <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

PVC pipe capped at both ends. Put it anywhere.

That's a good idea, I would have never of thought about using PVC pipping.

I used to bolt a spare front driveshaft between the frame rails under the bed.

<FONT COLOR="Red"> I've seen a rear driveshaft stowed nicely up above the operational one... I don't want to do this with mine as it will compromise the area that I have planned to install a spare fuel tank.

I've crawled all around under my rig (bobbed longbed) looking for a better place but the space just dosen't seem to be there (unless you where to build a "super-colapsable" square shaft for a spare instead of the stocker). </FONT c>
