I'm not sure which one to buy. It is for my daily driver.I'm leaning towards a spool but not sure how my truck will handle on road. And are spools easy to install?

I have run both and have to say a spool is they way to go if you don't mind a little extra tire wear. None of the bad habits of the lockers with there banging, popping and sudden lane changes.

I've had my spool on for a couple of months, and love it. There is quite a bit of tire wear, but I needed to upgrade. Right??
Besides, I like all of the dirty looks when I do a u-turn at the gas station. <IMG SRC="smilies/smokin.gif" border="0">

Hey, I have a question. Where is all of the poping and banging that everyone says that lockers have? I have a Detroit soft locker, and I get one pop/bang per year of use so far. I love my locker, and is well sorth the added $. Hell, my tires arn't even wearing that bad either!

because the tires are locked together. when going around a turn one tire needs to spin faster than another. the spool prevents this. thus one gets draged and wears more
