I have an 82 chevy that i need to get more flex out of it. My ? is should i use the 62 inch springs or run a revolver type shackle. If i use the spring i will have to move the spring perch and i already have the shackle flip so what do you guys think. Just want to know what has been done before.

do a search on revolver shackles, and you will get more feedback then you want. They are kind of a sore subject around here. I would go with the longer springs, les problems.

I've seen the revolvers on off-road.com's potent rodent. to make it work you need to do a shackle flip w/ ORD or make your own and it worked pretty badass. i have the ORD w/ a "Springer Flip" and it works crazy. here's springers site, http://www.springersuspensions.com/ , and here is my site, 4x4.alloffroad.com i have the camo oneif you need any more info let me know

I also have the Springer set up like Scoobydanns. Its alot less work than doing a shackle flip.No cutting or welding ,just a bolt in bracket.
