Whose springs do you like? Speak from experience..I'm needing a moderate lift, say 3" with a niiiiice ride. My personal experience from Superlift products is they suck, so I'm staying away from them and the run of the mill Rancho's, Trail Master's, etc. I'm looking at AOR, All Pro, National, Alcan,.....OME?

you pretty much named them, AllPro, Alcan, and Aor, best bet but not the cheapest ones out there, do a serch on springs and see what you come up with, but why go 3" go 5"-6" clear 35"tires, is your best bet.any question just ask

This is going to be a daily driver first and a capable trail rig second....so I have no interest in lifting past 3". This is my second 85 4runner, the first one I built that way and hated it's road manners.

i have run them all. (execpt AOR which are actually alcans)

loved the alcans but imho are to soft for the street.

liked my nationals but take a long time to get and are spendy.

i will continue to buy all-pro's

4" all-pro's are in stock and priced right. work great. bust out the credit card and get em.

Personally I would buy the AOR springs!!!!
To let you know that Kevin (owner) of AOR is the one who first made the best spring arc for the toyota. That is where Alcan and AllPro got there design!!! But yes like Camo said AOR springs do come from Alcan. But they cant give you the same great customer service like AOR!!!!!
Just my .02 worth.

I figured AOR's were Alcan's..both in Grand Junction. I wonder whose are more $$. Probably AOR. All Pro's sound just as nice, but it's going to be a pain welding up new shackle mounts AND front hangers for the rear's. It looks like their front's can be had to fit stock. I have no welding capability, so that's gonna be more $$ I'm out.

Longer rear springs make *that* much of a difference, huh? What about the front?

AOR will give you a good deal and I am sure so will Alcan. But if I was you I would look into the Orbit Eye Springs. I have them all around and the flex is amazing!
They really keep the body looking strait while your truck is sideways!!!
