Is there any sort of gear reduction starters that will fit the 404 unimog?
It's for the Mog we're doing the VW swap on. The starter interferes with the engine block with the angle that we want the engine to be. We need something either 3/8" smaller diameter, or a gear reduction starter with the motor offset away from the engine. We are using mog flywheel.
This is really holding up the project so any suggestions on what would work or has a possibility of working would be greatly appreciated.
