ive searched, but im getting mixed answers. i did find that the yj springs have the exact same length eye to center pin as the toy fronts (but some say it moves axle forward?). but as far as lift goes it has been fuzzy, some say 2-3 " some one said 5"

im wondering how much lift would stock yj rear prings give me on a 85 4runner with stock hangers.

also would it give me way too much flex for stock steering?

thanks in advance.

i have 2.5" yj rears up front. didnt move the axle forward by themeselves, just drill the perch. gave me about 2" over the advertised lift. so yours should give you 2" over stock if they are new. Mine is flexy, you will just need to setup your bumpstops and inspect your jarm constantly. best thing i did to my runner was cross over steering, get rid of that stock crap asap.

thanks man, did you just widen the factory front hangers ie. just bend them to fit and grind the bushings of the wrangler springs down, and how long is your rear shackle, an does the angle look good? thanks
