The flash hider on the GSR is aweful and has to go... figure I might as well get something decent on the end.

Suggestions?

APA little bastard was fantastic on my 300 WSM. The Holland knock-off made semi local to me was also good on my 308. If I were to get another break I think I would try a Rainier arms a go, or another little bastard.

What's plain steel? I've never heard off that grade or did you want something in free machining style :flipoff2:

I meant mild or plain carbon, but was open to "any plain old steel" available

I like to leave options

Kill the hidden lines and use a section cut and that would look much better.
I'm fawkin this cat, if it has kittens the first one is yours.

potatoe potatoe in this case. Still be goofy looking holes and partial holes in the edges cut. More inside features or constraints I would have.

LaRue and pirate go together like water and oil.
First thing I've ever purchased there...I know exactly zero about them...but they had what I needed in stock at a decent price. What did "they" do so I know for the future?
