Super Duty Axles: Difference Between F250, F250 with "HD Suspension" and F350 SRW

I was curious if Ford listed the axles as assemblies, and looked in an online parts catalog. Parts for the F250 and F350, especially SRW, are pretty much lumped together.

Looking, there are two front axle housings, front axle shafts, front hubs, rear hubs, and rear housings.

Examples:
The price differences seem significant. The HD trailer towing package on the diesel F250's mention an upgraded axle. The snowplow/severe service packages only mention increased spring rates. It is possible the axle difference may be a 'wide-track' option. However, they show up for an SRW by VIN, and wide track for an F350 doesn't appear in the order guide. The hubs may come with the diesel engine; but what is the difference other than $100 each?

Is there a significant difference between these components? The price difference is significant and if there is a difference, how can you tell? Unfortunately, while FCA has window stickers to 2013 and build-sheets into the 1990s online, Ford doesn't.
