Hey guys. I have a set of axles from a 2004 4x4 F450 coming to me. Pretty much free but they haven’t made it here home yet until I have a chance to pick them up.

What will it take to convert that front dually Dana 60 to a single rear wheel? All I can find from searching is people adding or removing the spacer adapters, is it just that it is there anything else involved?

It’s leaf spring setup and 8 lug is what I’ve learned. But info on using these axles would be great. Thanks.

From my recollection (so I may be wrong), the 2004 hubs were all the same for F250 through f550, 8x170mm. Wheel adapters for F350DRW just pushed the mounting face out, but kept the same bolt pattern, F450 and F550 adapted to 8x200mm . The F450 and F550 rotors were larger with different knuckles to move the calipers further out than the F250 and F350. Requires larger rims (19.5"?)
