For my senior thesis I am comparing the many different types of suspension geometry from leaf, torsion bar and coil four link, tri link, independent. etc. And my final question is specifically for off road which is type of suspension will work better over another and why. I am also building a model of two types of suspension to show different aspects of each that are good and bad. The two i picked are both four link the first is double triangulated and the other has parrallel links with a panhard bar. I just made the links today and started mocking up the frame here are some pix on the basic set up of how everything will come together and yes I am going to make the frame stronger with bracing at the cuts on the panhard suspension. Let me know what you think and please let me know if you have any suggestions or info that i could use for the project.
