Well, there's more than one way to make a paddle tire...

I might actually try that....

There is a good set of Swampers grooved in the new Four Wheeler on the Jimmy. They split each cheveron into three blocks. Looks very effective, its what I'm going to do when I get my groover.

Anyone got the mag handy with a scanner?
(Its the green one)

Mark, I have been saving pictures from the BB every time I see a cool cut Swamper. I feel your pain about the Search feature and I'll repost them for you here. Hope this helps.

Harry - I have several other pictures stored myself, and am working on a page with different siping & grooving patterns to use..

If you could email me any and all pictures you have, I would appreciate it and can have a complete page up by middle of next week for all to reference in the future

You won't believe this but...an electric meat cutter (the kind with 2 reciprocating blades) works like magic.

Hey Mark just grab a twelve pack of
plug the groover in grab a beer and drink it.
at a moderate pace. Once the first beer is gone using the drinking method noted above, the Groover should be heated up enough to do some grooving.

At this time you are ready to open another beer tune in your favorite radio station or start your favorite CD's.
Finish that second beer while making your test passes on your first tire.
Stand back once that beer is finished grab another open it up and say damn this is goona be fun.
Continue on with a pattern similar to this
Drink
Groove
Drink
Groove
Drink
Grove.
You can change the order of this sequince if necessary.

Once you are finished you can rest your drunk ass down on your newly formed pile of black catipilar looking ttire bits.
They make a soft comfy bed for a drunk groover to pass out on.

So, does anyone have any comments on what pattern works better than others? How do you know what your tire needs? Are there different patters that work better for slick rock vs muddy rock?

and lastly....

If Swampers needed all them extra groves, why dosen't Interco put them in a the factory?

My friend Jimmy is the one who cut the tires on this truck. They were not on this truck when he cut them. They were on this Samurai bodied cab truck at http://4x4hybridtrucks.com. He used a Sawzall with a long wood blade that had all the teeth ground off like a knife blade. It worked really well.
